2018 Women in the Arts competition "Celebrating the Genius of Women"

Local Artists

Women in the Arts, Inc. invite professional female artists to submit their work for the 2018 Women in the Arts competition "Celebrating the Genius of Women" at the Orlando Public Library. Finalists will be chosen from the entries submitted. 


Selected art will be featured in the upcoming Annual Celebrating the Genius of Women exhibition at the Orlando Public Library in March and April 2018. Finalists will be eligible for up to $2,000.00 in cash prizes and gallery representation. The Women in the Arts Awards event is March 24.

U.S. and International Artists

Women in the Arts invites U.S. and international women artists to enter the competition. Selected art will be part of an online exhibition at the Orlando Public Library during the months of March and April 2018. The artists will be recognized at the Women in the Arts Awards event on March 24.

Eligibility

Previous winners and honorees, staff, board, and volunteers of Women in the Arts, and OCLS staff are not eligible to enter the competition. Past winners and honorees are recognized at the portrait gallery exhibition and are invited to join the celebrations at the awards' event on March 24.

Re: Women in the Arts 2017 “Celebrating the Genius of Women” Art Competition

    

The following artists were selected to be in this year’s annual art competition and recognition events at the Orlando Public Library. The exhibition opens March 9 through April 23, 2017. The Meet the Artist gallery walk and awards reception is March 25 at 2:00 PM. All events are free and open to the public.
